Accepting Applications for 2024-25 Academic Year

We are now accepting applications for the 2024-25 academic year from Reception 1 to Grade 12.  There are specific documents you have to upload as part of your online application; we recommend that you prepare these items prior to starting the online application. Kindly observe that our Admissions are on a rolling basis, and your child will be invited for assessment subject to vacancy.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

There are specific documents you must upload as part of your online application; we recommend that you prepare the requested items prior to starting the online application.

  • We are accepting applications year-round.

  • The Application Fee (which includes assessment) is payable by FPS if an assessment is offered.

  • Submission of an application does not guarantee the assessment

  • Overseas applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible for entrance for the next academic year and will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Please read the application procedures below before proceeding.

STEP 1: DOCUMENT PREPARATION

Please prepare these supporting documents to be scanned and uploaded with your online application:

  • Digital student photo (to be uploaded and handed in if scheduled for assessment)

  • Student’s birth certificate

  • Student’s HKID (if held)

  • Student’s passport (if held)

  • Valid visa (for non-residents)

  • Previous school records in English:

    • Kindergarten: Report cards from the past year, if held

    • Elementary: Report cards from the past 2 years

    • Secondary: Report cards for the past 3 years and Transcript for Grades 9-12 only

*Please ensure the school report is in English

STEP 2: ONLINE APPLICATION

Click on the 'apply' button and complete all required fields including uploading supporting documents - completed applications will receive an automated notification by email.

STEP 3: ASSESSMENT

Once we have received your completed online application, our admissions team will review your application. If an admissions assessment is to be offered, you will receive an email notification approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled assessment date. Admissions assessments will be held according to the following dates:

STEP 4: ENROLLMENT

Students who have met our admission assessment requirements will receive notification by email and will have 10 working days to complete our online confirmation of enrollment and make the necessary payments to secure their seats. All payments must be made prior to the student's first day of school.

**ICS admits any qualified student who is willing to abide by the school's code of conduct, without discrimination on the basis of race, national and ethnic origin, religion, disability, or gender, to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, provided that the school has the allocated resources to support any needs that the student may have. ICS reserves the right to administer selective enrollment when necessary, proper, and in the school's best interest. **

SCHOOL FEES

All fees are in Hong Kong dollars, non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise indicated.

TUITION 2023-2024

TUITION 2024-2025 (Kindergarten tuition is subject to EdB Approval)

Tuition is charged by 10 installments and cannot be prorated.

BRIDGES COHORT TUITION 2023-2024

The Bridges Program is designed for students aged 14-18 who have significant special learning needs, including areas related to communications, social and emotional interaction, or physical and sensory challenges. This fee includes tuition and additional costs of specialized personnel, as well as maintaining a low student teacher ratio.

APPLICATION FEE

An application fee is payable for all applicants invited for assessment and is valid for one academic year. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be settled prior to assessment.

  • Kindergarten (Reception 1 and 2): $1,000

  • Pre-Grade 1 - Grade 12: $1,500

While ICS strives to offer an admission assessment to most applicants, due to limited availability of seats, assessment is not guaranteed.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT (P1-G12) / KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FEE 2023-2024

The Reservation Deposit / Registration Fee confirms the enrollment of a new student. The amount will be credited against the student's first tuition instalment.

The fee will be forfeited if, for any reason, after accepting a place at ICS, the applicant decides not to attend.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT (P1-G12) / KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FEE 2024-2025 (subject to EdB Approval)

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • The tuition fee excludes costs including but not limited to items such as book deposit, graduation fee, extracurricular activities, band instrumental rental, uniforms, school bus, and meals.

  • Withdrawal - The school requires TWO full calendar months’ written notice of withdrawal or TWO full calendar months’ tuition if the notice period is less than this. Summer holiday does not count towards the notice period.

  • Student Services - Students who receive services, including but not limited to English as an Additional Language (EAL), Learning Support, and others, will be charged based on the individual needs of each student.

  • If, after Confirmation of Enrollment, a new student does not attend ICS for a continuous period of 2 weeks without approval from the school, the child’s school place will be canceled.

DEBENTURES

The debenture is a one-time, non-interest–bearing promissory note issued by ICS. It is not secured by a mortgage or charge on any International Christian School property or assets. A debenture is only required for students entering Pre-Grade 1 to Grade 12. For details regarding the Debenture Program, please click here.

TRANSFERABLE INDIVIDUAL DEBENTURE

Individual Debenture Cost for Families:

  • HK$250,000 for the first child

  • HK$180,000 for the second child

  • HK$140,000 for the third child

  • No debenture is required for additional children beyond third child

TRANSFERABLE CORPORATE DEBENTURE

The Transferable Corporate Debenture is available for corporations only.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

FINANCIAL AID

Financial Aid is a tuition subsidy to support families with financial needs. Financial aid must be reapplied annually.

FAMILY DISCOUNT

Family discount is a tuition discount offered to families with more than two children enrolled at International Christian School. This discount is applied first to the eldest child and then in descending order. Family discounts must be reapplied annually. 

  • 1st & 2nd child – No discount

  • 3rd child – 10% discount on tuition fee

  • 4th child – 15% discount on tuition fee

  • Additional children – increases in 5% increment

DEBENTURE RELIEF

Families with a proven financial need are eligible to apply for a discounted debenture.

Financial Aid and Debenture Relief amounts are based on a pre-determined matrix and are solely need-based.

All financial Aid and Debenture Relief applications are handled in strict confidence with each application being independently approved by the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees.

School uniform is compulsory for all elementary and secondary students and optional for kindergarten students. Uniform requirements are provided after enrollment.
