Preparing for University, Empowered for Life

The ICS Educational Journey:
A Christ-Centered Foundation for Life

Education is more than just memorizing facts or training for a job; it’s about shaping wise, virtuous, and thoughtful individuals who love truth, goodness, and beauty. As a Christ-centered school we build this on the foundation of the Bible with a classical liberal arts curriculum. From Pre-K through Grade 12, ICS offers a continuous educational pathway, culminating in a robust Advanced Placement (AP) program that prepares students for top global universities.

Christ At The center

  • Every subject points to Jesus; God’s revelation is given to us through the Bible and through Nature.
  • Science reveals His order, math reflects His logic, and history shows His Providence.

The Liberal Arts

  • From their earliest beginnings, Christian schools have valued literacy and numeracy because Jesus is the Word of God. The universe is understood through word and number; language and order.
  • Great books (from Homer to Shakespeare to C.S. Lewis) are central, teaching timeless lessons about human nature, virtue, and God’s truth.
  • A liberal arts education doesn’t teach students what to think, it teaches them how to think: to “take captive every thought for Christ” (2 Cor.10:5).

Piety, virtue and Wisdom

  • Our prayer and hope for our students isn’t just academic success but Christ-like character: humility, courage, and a love for others.
  • Piety means an education in love: of God and of people. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Prov.9:10)
We believe this kind of education is the best preparation students can have for university, for life, and for eternity. They learn to think deeply, communicate clearly, and live faithfully in a confused world. Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes a tool for them, and not a master. It is the way the Church has educated for centuries, and it is just as powerful today.

Standards-Based Learning: Transparent & Rigorous

ICS employs a standards-based learning framework to ensure clarity, rigor, and measurable growth. This approach provides clear, objective targets for every subject and grade level, aligning with academic goals that prepare our students for successful admission into their chosen universities worldwide. We prioritize transparent assessment and consistent feedback, empowering students to understand their progress and strive for mastery.

Expected School-wide Learning Results

Our six ESLRs define the ultimate learning outcomes for every ICS student, guiding all programs and activities:
Identify And Develop God-Given Abilities

1 Peter 4:10:

Each of  you should use whatever gift  you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Communicate Effectively

James 1:19:

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of  this: Everyone should be quick  to listen, slow  to speak and slow  to become angry.

Strive For Excellence

Colossians 3:23:

Whatever  you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.

Act As Responsible Members Of The Global Community

Philippians 2:3-4:

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above  yourselves, not looking  to your own interests, but each of  you  to  the interest of others.

Know, Understand & Apply Biblical Principles
Matthew 7:24:

Therefore, everyone who hears  these words of mine and puts  them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on  the rock.
Think Independently, Creatively & Analytically
Philippians 4:8:

Finally, brothers, whatever is  true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if  there is any excellence, if  there is anything worthy of praise, think about these  things.
