Facilities Officer/ Senior Facilities Officer

Job Purpose

You will be joining a community of Christian professionals who will welcome your skills and expertise in ensuring high-quality facilities management (FM) services provided by the FM Office, contractors, and service providers. While administrative responsibility is emphasized, the job holder remains accountable for all aspects of facilities management. You also oversee facilities projects and enhance campus facilities in line with departmental/school objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the implementation of a wide range of facilities improvement projects for the school campuses.

  • Coordinate with on-site service providers to make their service standards are met.

  • Carry out inspections for contractors.

  • Handle general administrative tasks. 

Qualification & Experience

  • Holders of a higher diploma or degree in a relevant discipline is required.

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience; prior experience gained in property management companies is ideal.  

  • Experience gained in educational institutions will be an added advantage.

  • Candidates who can be available immediately are preferred.

  • Candidates with better academic qualifications and/or more proven experience will be considered as Senior Facilities Officer.

  • Good at negotiation, facilitation and problem solving.  Ability to give practical advice and solutions.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Positive with a can-do mindset, and the ability to diffuse emotions in difficult situations.

  • Sound knowledge of basic office computer software including MS Office and Google Docs. Prior exposure to AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator will be an advantage.
