Curriculum
ICS Elementary provides a rigorous and holistic educational program. We believe that social-emotional and spiritual growth are as important as academic success. Our curriculum is taught from a Biblical worldview utilizing high-impact instructional practices. Focus is placed on transferable skills such as communication & collaboration, problem-solving, and the integration of technology, setting students up for successful lifelong learning. Homeroom teachers provide instruction in Bible, Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, and Writing. These core subjects are complemented by Art, Chinese Language (Putonghua), Music, and Physical Education from qualified specialist teachers. Service learning and ICS Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLRs) are woven throughout the curriculum, equipping students to serve and transform their communities in developmentally appropriate ways.
Teachers & Staff
As a Christian school, ICS employs individuals who are passionate about children and exhibit a firm foundation in the Christian faith. ICS Elementary teachers are highly trained and certified educators. Low student: teacher ratios ensure that students are well-known as learners and that learning is differentiated. Excellent warmth and a sense of community resonate throughout the school. This quality is achieved through the cooperation of supportive parents, dedicated teachers, exceptional children, and the love of Jesus.
Campus
ICS Elementary is located at the Shek Mun Campus. Elementary students enjoy large classrooms fitted out with modular furniture, technology equipment, and layouts designed to be adaptable for large-group and small-group instruction. An indoor, air-conditioned gym allows for year-round PE classes and sports programs. Dedicated music classrooms support the development of performing arts in our learners. Multiple play spaces ensure students receive ample opportunities for movement and exploration. Parents can pre-order hot meats for their children to be enjoyed in the school cafeteria, which can accommodate over 250 students at a time and is operated by a specialized food solution provider.

Volunteer Forms for Parents
In order to enhance our campus security and to ensure alignment with our accreditation guidelines, please fill out a new school-wide volunteer application process. Please note that effective immediately, all potential volunteers at ICS will be required to complete a volunteer application form and supply three character references to volunteer at our school. Once completed, you may turn these in to your child's administrative office (kindergarten, elementary office, or secondary office).
