International Christian School was founded in 1992 by six diverse missions agencies.  The mission agencies are responsible to provide three representatives who will serve on the Board of Trustees.

The founding member missions of ICS were:

1. One Mission Society, Inc.
2. China Free Methodist Mission
3. SEND International of Hong Kong Ltd.
4. Evangelical Free Church Mission
5. Conservative Baptist Mission Ltd. (now WorldVenture)
6. Wycliffe Bible Translators/SIL

Over the years, ICS has transformed and grown.  17 years later, four of our original founding missions remain and two are newer to ICS. Both Evangelical Free Church Mission and Wycliffe Bible Translators/SIL have been replaced by:

1. Eastern Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities
2. International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention
