School Activities Print

The Elementary School works hard to offer a variety of after school activities that address a wide range of student interests.  There are three terms for after school activities, each one offering different opportunities for students.  Below is a list of the activities offered during Term 1 of the 09-10 school year.

  • Karate Training Class (Ages 5-12)

ICS Karate is more than a place to come to karate class.  We have many social events for our students to participate in, including tournaments, weapons classes, buddy days, school fair demonstrations and much more!

  • Science Club (Ages 5-12)

Science Adventures after-school programs will introduce children to the wonders of science in a fun and highly imaginative environment.  This hands on After School Science Club meets once a week throughout the year.  Children are introduced to science concepts through interactive experiments, fun activities and take home science projects.

  • Drawing & Painting Club (Grades 1-3)

This after-school art club is for students interested in exploring their sense of creativity and experimenting with different materials.  Students will look at various sources of art for inspiration.

  • Jogging Club (Grades 3-5)

  • Chinese Sports (Grades 1 & 2)
