Through the years, our donors have played a crucial role in the advancement of our school’s vision and have truly become part of the ICS family. By blessing the school, donors invest in the lives of hundreds of children - children who are taught the value of Christian character, community service, and academic and artistic excellence. Supporting Capital Development
The generosity of our supporters made it possible for the HK$314 million Shek Mun campus to open in 2008. This dream was realized because of the generous support of the Hong Kong SAR Government through a HK$100 million land grant for the building of the campus. Parents, students, alumni, faculty, staff and other interested community partners also donated generously towards campus construction. The new campus provides students with an improved educational environment to grow and learn, and the faculty with enhanced facilities to teach. The Building Fund (previously the Capital Fund) was established for building the current Shek Mun campus and for retiring the existing balance for the construction costs of the campus. While we have accomplished a great deal in paying back our debt, we still need to raise about HK$60 million (as of June 2011) before reaching the goal of a debt-free campus. We are confident it can be done, and invite you to be a part of our success. Your donations can help us retire the loan earlier and reduce the amount of interest incurred. Money can then be channeled for further development of our school program.
Sponsoring Special Needs Education at ICS
Education Fund - Assisting Deserving Families with Financial Needs Education Scholarship ICS welcomes families of all backgrounds. To enable as many children as possible to study at our school, a variety of scholarships are set up to provide assistance for deserving families with financial needs. These scholarships are available in particular for those families who work for mission agencies, churches and other non-profits. If all financial needs are met for the academic year, surplus funds will be set aside and designated for financial assistance in future years. William Lam Missionary Education Fund This fund was established with a generous contribution by the late Mr. William Lam and his wife Mary. William Lam served as the first chair of the Capital Campaign Committee. It was this committee that spearheaded fundraising for the new Shek Mun Campus. For the next three years starting from 2011, the William Lam Missionary Education Fund will provide financial support for tuition costs at ICS for the children of Christian missionaries, church workers and service organization volunteers. Scholarship for Overseas Program E ICS Service Award The scholarship was established by the generous contribution of an anonymous donor. A student selected by the administration and faculty who has demonstrated exemplary service to the community for that year will be awarded.
Your donations, large or small, will have a lasting and significant impact on the ICS educational program. You can help our students develop their full academic potential, pursue excellence in arts and sports, and build strong Christian character. People who have the heart and a passion for a particular area of the ICS program can donate to establish scholarships under their names or a name suggested by them. Donors with a special vision for how ICS can serve its students and the Hong Kong or world community can set up a designated fund. One such opportunity is the school’s Go Green Fund, which was established recently to raise awareness of environmental issues and support conservation projects/programs on campus. Sponsoring ICS Events Besides donations, we also welcome sponsorship of school events. ICS is an international community and parents come from a wide variety of professions. Corporate sponsors of school events enjoy the enviable opportunity of reaching out to a wide and diverse consumer audience.

ICS believes quality Christian education is important for every child because every child is unique. The Special Needs Fund was established to maintain and enhance the school’s commitment to students with special learning needs through our Bridges Program, which provides educational opportunities for children with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Special needs education is costly. Funds are needed to hire specialists, upgrade facilities and purchase special equipment and teaching materials. ICS is doing all we can to provide high-quality and at the same time affordable special needs education.
stablished in 2010, this scholarship supports distinguished and worthy students who qualify for financial assistance to represent ICS at overseas conferences, and take part in fine and performing arts performances and sports competitions abroad. Scholarships are also available to provide financial support for secondary students for Week-Without-Walls service trips and other educational programs.
