International Christian School has established itself as a leader in academics, fine and performing arts, sports and community service, both in Hong Kong and abroad. Our success is in large part due to the outstanding quality of our faculty and staff. Teaching Faculty ICS employs over 100 teachers. Our Kindergarten and Elementary School teachers have an average of 8.8 years of teaching experience and our Secondary School teachers average 12.5 years of teaching experience. It is through their own experience, training and education that ICS teachers are able to facilitate our students to achieve amazing things! Our faculty comes from all over the world and each teacher brings amazing talents and skills that enable ICS to serve as a leader of top-quality, comprehensive Christian education. ICS actively recruits in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Through the development of a leave of absence program, and financial assistance for higher education and professional development funding, the school has worked to assist teachers in developing their skills further. The basic academic qualifications for employment as a teacher at ICS are a Bachelor's degree in Education, or a Bachelor's degree in a teaching area with an additional certificate or degree in Education.
